Yesterday Square Enix announced that the wonderful JRPG Final Fantasy IX (originally released on PSOne in 2000) is out on Android and iOS devices. In addition to some improved visuals and an auto-save mode there are also some interesting optional booster features (7 in total) that may appeal to those who have already completed the game once. These include "no encounter mode" and "auto equip master gear", that will allow you to progress faster through the game (though it kind of sounds like cheating to us).
Final Fantasy IX is a favourite in these offices and so we certainly recommend you give these new editions a try - you can find them on AppStore and Google Play.
Square Enix also mentioned that the Steam version of the game is due out soon - and you can catch up on the details over on the Steam page.
