Final Fantasy IX for PSN?

Producer twitters about possibility
Petter Mårtensson 29 March 2010

The old Playstation-classic Final Fantasy IX might make Final Fantasy VII and VIII company on Playstation Network, at least it's a possibility according to Square producer Shinji Hashimoto. He wrote on Square Enix's Twitter-page that

"Thanks to everyone for your opinions on FFIX. Regarding an FFIX download release, everyone is so passionate about it that I'll be proposing it at the next board meeting. Look forward to next week!"

He then followed that up with saying the presentation went well and that the result will come on Friday. "Everyone, please pray," he added and we sure will. While we still have fights at Gamereactor about which game in the series is the best, since I am writing this piece of news I might as well take full control of the discussion and say that Final Fantasy IX is the best of the FF-games released for Playstation. So there!
