Earlier today we reported on a fairly obvious teaser from Lionhead Studios of a HD remake of the original Fable (released on Xbox in 2004) - and now Fable Anniversary for Xbox 360 has been made official.
"We're really excited to bring ‘Fable' to Xbox 360," said Ted Timmins, Lead Designer on "Fable Anniversary." "It's the game that the ‘Fable' community has been asking for, so we wanted to make sure ‘Fable Anniversary' delivered the definitive ‘Fable' experience for both long-time fans and newcomers to the franchise."
Fable Anniversary will include the content from the original release as well as the "Director's Cut version" that included The Lost Chapters. The graphics have obviously been given an overhaul and it is now rendered in 1080p, while achievements and Smartglass support have been added. New interface, new save system and almost non-existant load times are other features.
