The esports organisation, Evil Geniuses has a very impressive history in the Dota 2 scene. For a long period of time, the team was a surefire lock as a top, if not championship-winning calibre team at The International every year, however the past few years hasn't been so kind.
Evil Geniuses hasn't qualified for The International since 2019, and with this in mind, the team is starting a rebuild so that it can get back on track. To this end, the team has announced that it is parting ways with its entire Dota 2 roster, meaning Artour "Arteezy" Babaev, Abed "Abed" Yusop, Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen, Tal "Fly" Aizik, and coach Kanishka 'Sam' "BuLba" Sosale are all free to find new teams.
There's no mention as to who Evil Geniuses will be signing as part of its rebuilt team, but no doubt we'll hear more about this in the coming weeks and months.
