Overwatch League team London Spitfire had great success in Stage 1 of the first season of the League (they did win it, after all), and now the team has revealed its roster set to represent the organisation in the second season of development league Overwatch Contenders, called British Hurricane.

British Hurricane is also owned by esports organisation Cloud9, and will have a full European roster to compete in the league, starting next month with 12 city-based teams, just like the regular Overwatch League. The name was chosen as a homage to another classic British fighter plane, and they'll be hoping to make their mark on Contenders.

Below are all the players in the team:

  • Cameron 'Fusions' Bosworth (United Kingdom)

  • Hafþór 'Hafficool' Hákonarson (Iceland)

  • Finley 'Kyb' Adisi (United Kingdom)

  • Phillip 'Kragie' Krag Brems (Denmark)

  • Ryan 'CrusaDe' van Wegen (Netherlands)

  • Daniel 'FunnyAstro' Hathaway (United Kingdom)

  • Jakob 'bock1' Kleveland (Sweden)

These players will be supported by American coach Nicholas 'ShiftyOW' Travis as well as manager Ysabel 'Noukky' Müller from Germany. Do you think this roster can perform well in Contenders?
