We recap the second day of HCT's World Championships

Surrender and Sintolol had good results.
Sam Bishop 20 January 2018

The Hearthstone Championship Tour (HCT) World Championship is currently taking place in Amsterdam, and yesterday saw even more matches take place in the rest of the groups after a thoroughly entertaining first day (a summary of which you can find here), and we've recapped yesterday's action for those who missed it.

In Group C, Sintolol had a pretty good day by all measures, as he finished at the top of the group with a 2-0 record. His match against Purple was pretty close, being pushed to 3-2, but he was slightly more convincing against ShtanUdachi, winning 3-1 this time around. ShtanUdachi in fact only suffered one loss, as he beat out Ant 3-1 to leave himself on a 1-1 record, much like Purple. Ant, though, was eliminated after two straight losses.

Neirea also suffered the same fate as Ant in Group D, as he faced a 3-1 defeat to Fr0zen before going against OmegaZero in a must-win battle. Unfortunately for Neirea, OmegaZero registered his own 3-1 win, which he needed after the earlier 3-2 defeat to Surrender, who sits at the top of the group after his other win against Fr0zen, again by a 3-2 margin.

Below you can take a look at our video round-up of Day 2, as well as welcoming you to an exciting third day, on top of the other video content from yesterday. Are you excited for this third day?
