Esports World Cup 2026: 100 Thieves and BIG among Counter-Strike 2 Last Chance Qualifier survivors

While the main event won't kick off for a few days, the Last Chance Qualifier for the Counter-Strike 2 event at the Esports World Cup did come to a close over this past weekend. The premise of the event was to whittle down 64 hopeful organisations to four survivors, each of whom would be advancing to the 32-team main event where $2 million is on the line.

After a hectic couple of days of action, we now know the four surviving teams, with these being K27, BIG, JijieHao, and 100 Thieves. Each will advance and has been seeded into the main proceedings which is commencing with a Group Stage.

The Group Stage will start on August 12 and the aim will be to half the qualified teams through a double-elimination bracket, reducing the count to 16 survivors who will advance to a single-elimination Playoffs bracket.
