ESL renews its partnership with Spotify

Expect new and exclusive CS:GO content throughout 2023.

The ESL has announced that it has extended its partnership with the audio streaming platform, Spotify. The renewed deal will see the pair continuing to produce new and exclusive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive content for the rest of 2023, including seeing the Talking Counter podcast continuing its run, now as an exclusive product on Spotify.

We're told that this deal will also see the duo looking to expand into the esports culture scene further, with this including new offerings for viewers of the German ESL broadcasts.

Benny Eichelmann, senior director global brand partnerships at EFG added, "As we head into an exciting new era for Counter-Strike fans we want to hone in on new and exclusive content that will delight hardcore Counter-Strike fans, whilst also continuing to build the connection between the esports-, audio-, and music worlds."

We're also told that this deal will see Spotify tapped as the official partner of the ESL's German CS national championship, the Meisterschaft, as well as being the German broadcast partner for the ESL Pro Tour.
