Enslaved from Ninja Theory

Publisher Namco Bandai and developer Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword) have issued the first screens from Enslaved. Played out in a post apocalyptic world set 150 years in the future the player will control the colossal Monkey who along with his friend Trip turn robots into scrap metal.

The script has been penned by Alex Garland (The Beach, 28 Days Later) and Andy Serkis (best known for playing Gollum) will do motion capture and voice Monkey. Due out sometime next year Enslaved looks like an action title to keep a close eye on.

As one could expect from a game from Ninja Theory the graphics are very impressive with great detail in the backdrops and a characteristic art style.

"This new project pushes our core strengths of rich story-telling, cutting-edge technology and exciting gameplay beyond anything we have created before," said Nina Kristensen, co-founder of Ninja Theory.
