EA to publish DeathSpank

Ron Gilbert, one of the creators of The Secret of Monkey Island, started his own studio Hothead Games back in 2006. Now EA have decided to publish his new game, the XBLA and PSN title DeathSpank. DeathSpank is supposed to be an action RPG in which the hero called DeathSpank - described as the Hero to the Downtrodden, a Vanquisher of Evil and Defender of Justice - goes on a search for a mysterious artifact. Expect a lot of bizarre humor, especially since the game is supposed to feature the "legendary Thongs of Virtue". Yeah, we'll let you speculate on what that is yourself.
