Destiny 2's Shadowkeep expansion has new Gamescom trailer

This shows off the Season of the Undying as well, seeing the Vex wage war against the Guardians.

Destiny 2 is one of the games that has shown the most at Gamescom already, as Bungie's game was shown off during the Stadia Connect stream yesterday afternoon, and at Gamescom Opening Night Live another trailer was shown off as well, which was a Season of the Undying trailer for the Shadowkeep expansion.

The expansion takes us to the moon, and the trailer above shows the Vex, who are gearing up for war as part of Season of the Undying. We can expect all of this on October 1 (the new release date after a short delay), as well as New Light, bringing free content for players as well.

Interestingly, Game Rant reports that at least a portion of the cinematic trailer is two years old, as it matches a trailer leaked back in February of 2017. This was before Destiny 2 was even revealed, and came from Prologue Films, who has worked on the franchise.

Are you excited for Shadowkeep?
