This is part of four hours scheduled maintenance.

Destiny servers, including both the original and the newly-released sequel, are due to go offline for a while today as part of maintenance, as revealed by Bungie on their official site, with the downtime scheduled to last for four hours.

The maintenance is meant to start at 15:00 BST (16:00 CEST), and an hour after that, players will be removed from activities, with everything ideally going back to normal at 19:00 BST (20:00 CEST).

These measures are pretty standard, and as stated by Bungie, could be to "update the game to address gameplay issues or add in-game features", among many other things. For more information, though, head over to their website. Has this disrupted your planned playtime?
