Another season of the Apex Legends Global Series has come to a close now that the 2022 Championship has wrapped up over the weekend. Bringing the best teams from around the world together to compete for a share of the $2 million prize pool, the winner of this year's tournament has now been determined.

And for the 2022 season, it was none other than DarkZero Esports who took the title. This win has seen the team walking away with $500,000 in prize money, and marks the first time that the organisation has ever won a tournament in Apex Legends, not just a world championship. This is due to the fact that DarkZero only signed the championship winning roster a few days before the 2022 Championship began, a move that drew a lot of attention.

Now that the 2022 season is complete, we're waiting to hear from Respawn Entertainment to learn about the 2023 circuit, and how that will differ from 2022.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"The mix of weapons, the revive mechanic, the excellent design of the map, the fluidity of the controls, and the stellar gunplay all combine to make a slick first-person experience."
