Classic Call of Duty maps to be re-created in Advanced Warfare

Advanced Warfare looks to the past to provide for the future.

Sledgehammer is currently thinking about adding classic maps to the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for future DLC. This was revealed by the company's co-founder Michael Condrey in an interview with VG247.

The challenge is to add the new possibilities in movement that Advance Warfare has, with a lot more vertical movement:

"One new piece of feedback we have heard in Havoc is the fan desire to see some classic maps make their way to Advanced Warfare, and we're taking a look at some opportunities to really highlight the vertical gameplay mechanics in some reimagined franchise favorites moving forward, like we did with Atlas Gorge."
