Activision and Sledgehammer Games are going into overdrive to build up anticipation for their new Call of Duty game, with a new teaser site counting down the seconds until the announcement lands on May 4.

We got an email with the attached infographic, and a tagline that reads: "In the last 20 years, global combat has seen a steady shift towards the use of private military corporations, or PMCs. What happens when the highest bidder becomes the world's next superpower?"

The incomprehensible image on the teaser site.

There's plenty of rumours flying around at the moment, with some quarters suggesting the game will carry the suffix ‘Blacksmith', with other (more outlandish) sources suggesting a World War I setting and the name Patriots. Another interesting tidbit is that Variety are also suggesting that Kevin Spacey is going to star in the upcoming game.

Whatever this new Call of Duty turns out to be, we'll know a whole lot more by next week. As always, we'll keep you updated.
