Earlier this year we found out that Bungie is preparing the Shadowkeep expansion for Destiny 2, as well as a new version called New Light (both of which have just been delayed to October), and now the developer has revealed a resource that'll let you link your PC player accounts for a "smooth transition of your Guardians and all your game purchases".
This is because the game is coming to Steam for the first time on October 1, and from August 20 you can sign up here to migrate the accounts. There's also another resource for players who know they'll play Destiny 2 in more than one place, with cross-save aimed for August 21, letting you bring loot, gear, and weapons with you on any platform.
In the same update we're told that we'll be getting a director's cut of Shadowkeep with Luke Smith, an armour customisation preview livestram, more details at Gamescom, the launch of cross-save, details on changing seasons in Year 3, a PvP reveal for Shadowkeep, and an invitation to the Crucible at PAX, all in that order.
Will you play Destiny 2 on multiple platforms?
