One of the most bizarre phenomenons in the Overwatch League is the Striker Cycle. For some really unusual reason, South Korean DPS star Kwon "Striker" Nam-joo has only ever played for two OWL teams, yet has jumped between teams five times.

As you might be wondering how this works, Striker kicked off his OWL career with the Boston Uprising, then left and joined the San Francisco Shock and won a couple of championships, before leaving the Shock and heading back to the Uprising, all before (you guessed it) leaving Boston again and going back to San Francisco. Jump to this season and Striker has recently left the Shock again and rejoined the Uprising for the third time in his career, but it looks as though this cycle is continuing, as Striker and the Uprising are parting ways yet again.

The Uprising has announced that Striker is leaving the team and has wished him the best with "what's next". There's no mention on where Striker will end up, but if the past is anything to go by, a third stay with the Shock would be very, very fitting.
