Astralis has updated its CS:GO roster

A Talent star is being promoted to the main team.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 18 April 2023

Astralis has really fallen from grace in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene. Once regarded as the top team in the entire world, and for a lengthy period for that matter, the team has now failed to qualify for the final CS:GO Major that will be held in Paris next month.

With a slew of disappointing results in mind, the Danish esports organisation has kicked a few roster changes into gear, and this includes bringing up an Astralis Talent player to the main team, and filling the slot in the academy roster with a new name.

It will be Alexander "Altekz" Givskov who is being promoted to the main Astralis team, while Andreas "kiR" Kirstein is filling the gap on Astralis Talent.

We'll get to see this updated Astralis line-up in action at IEM Dallas in a few weeks time.
