Apex Legends' Legendary Hunt has begun

Get in-game loot from completing challenges, as well as extras in the store and XP bonuses this month.

Apex Legends has already had a lot to talk about since it was released earlier this year, and if you think you're up for a tough challenge in Respawn's battle royale game, then the new Legendary Hunt might be something to try out.

From now until July 2 you can earn your way to a select queue full of top-five winners by getting to the top-five in any match, producing a harder challenge just for the elite. There are also Legendary Hunt Challenge rewards as well, running until June 18 and giving timed, exclusive loot with the following requirements:

  • Legendary Hunt Badge - Finish in the Top 5 in any match.
  • Rare Wolfpack G7 Scout weapon skin - Finish in the Top 5 in an Elite Top 5 match.
  • Epic Master of the Hunt Bloodhound Legend skin - Finish in the Top 5 five times in any queue (consecutive or nonconsecutive).
  • Legendary Tamed Beast Triple Take weapon skin - Win twice in any queue (consecutive or nonconsecutive).

What's more is that those who own the Battle Pass can also get their own Legendary Hunt skins, these being the Legendary Honored Prey R-301 weapon skin (available just for owners) and the Legendary Night Terror Wraith skin, unlocked after level 15.

Until June 18 there's also bonus XP for Battle Pass owners as well, rewarding an entire Battle Pass level when you finish in the top five, awarded once per day. On top of that a Double XP Weekend is running from June 7 at 10:00 PT (18:00 BST, 19:00 CEST) to June 10 at the same time, applying to level and Battle Pass XP.

That's not all though, as until June 18 there will also be new Legendary Hunt items in the shop every three to four days, which are exclusive to this event (although Respawn did say that "they may be back, but no one can say when").

Are you good enough to take on the Legendary Hunt?
