Apex Legends Global Series Year 3 Championship to be held in Birmingham

Respawn Entertainment has announced when and where the Apex Legends Global Series Year 3 Championship will be held. Set to be based in Birmingham, the mega tournament with a $2 million prize pool, will be held between September 6-10.

Respawn has picked the Resorts World Arena in the city to be the host venue, and as for the format for the event, we're told that the Championship will feature five days of play, with 40 of the best teams from around the world in attendance.

It's said that the tournament will be taking place alongside the Insomnia Gaming Festival, and we're promised on this front a bunch of cross-collaborations to take place, most of which will be announced in the coming weeks.

In terms of tickets, these will go on sale this Friday, July 21.
