Originally relations between Max Payne creators Remedy Entertainment and publisher Rockstar were thought to be frosty after the latter opted to have their own developers work on the third game in the franchise. Lately, information has gotten out that Remedy have been consulted and asked for input on the project, and Remedy's Oskari Hakkinen had the following to say on the new game when approached on the subject by Kotaku:
"We absolutely love what they've done and couldn't be more proud of where the series is headed"
"I mean, they don't really make shitty games, do they? It's as if the Rockstar logo has become this, "Seal of quality."
It would seem everyone is as happy as can be then...
