Evil Geniuses has been one of the largest eSports organisations since 1999. That's a long time, but it seems that the organisation that once spawned The International and ESL grand champions is now focusing entirely on Valorant.
The latest bit of evidence pointing towards that is an exit from the ESL, which likely points to Evil Geniuses leaving the competitive Counter-Strike scene. The company had previously left the Blast Premier circuit as well.
This departure becomes effective on the 1st of January 2024, and the Evil Geniuses spot in the ESL will be taken by another organisation based on the World Ranking.
