Heroic has announced that it has acquired former Astralis Counter-Strike professional, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, from Team Vitality, on a short-term deal that ties him to the organisation until the end of 2023.
Dupreeh joins an organisation who most recently won the BLAST Premier: Spring Final in June, and came second at IEM Katowice in February. With a bunch of major events planned for later this year, including the BLAST Premier: Fall Final and World Final, no doubt Dupreeh's experience will come in helpful as the team looks to cap off an already rather successful year.
Speaking about joining Heroic, Dupreeh stated: "I am happy to announce I have agreed to help Heroic in their upcoming tournaments until end of year.
"Since my benching last summer, I have been putting all my effort into the closed beta and early stage of CS2, and now I have the ability to both help Heroic in a tough situation."
