FaZe Clan are the IEM Sydney champions

The esports organisation adds another victory to its slate.
Ben Lyons Senior Editor 23 October 2023

FaZe Clan has been on a bit of a tear in the competitive Counter-Strike space as of late, with the organisation winning IEM Katowice and IEM Cologne last year, as well as Seasons 15 and 17 of the ESL Pro League, and the PGL Major Antwerp in between. Now, on top of having an Intel Grand Slam to its name, the organisation has been crowned IEM Sydney champions too.

Following around a week of competition, FaZe will be returning from Australia with $100,000 and direct qualification to IEM Katowice 2024. This came after defeating Complexity in the grand finals, and after working through the playoffs bracket and knocking ENCE and Mouz out along the way.

With this tournament out of the way, FaZe will be turning its attention to the Thunderpick World Championship and the CS2 Asia Championships, before competing in the BLAST Premier Fall Final in late November.
