Atari's Test Drive Unlimited 2 has been green-lit for a release date, with developer Eden's massive sandbox racer hitting shop shelves on February 11 next year on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game will retail for £49.99 on console, and £39.99 on PC.

Pre-ordering the game through select retailers will gain access to the Casino DLC for free, which allows them to level up their character and be in with a chance to win exclusive cars. The DLC will also be available to purchase on launch day, with a retail price of 800MP/£6.

Namco's full press release, plus a pre-order trailer, follows below:

"Customers pre-ordering Test Drive Unlimited 2 from Game.co.uk, Amazon.co.uk, HMV.co.uk, Play.com, Asda.co.uk, blockbuster.co.uk and gamestation.co.uk will be fast-tracked into the island's highlife with Casino, an in - game DLC item that has a value of 800 MSP/£6/€8. This allows players to fly directly into the casino where they can level-up their character, win in-game currency and exclusive items, even an Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI Quattro and a Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder, unavailable anywhere else in the game.

This offer will be exclusive to those that pre-order the title prior to launch. Casino will also be available to buy on the day of launch.

Also available by pre-order is exclusive early access to some of the most desirable cars in the game, interior and exterior trim upgrades, and avatar items before they are released as premium download content.

Sitting lavishly on the Test Drive Unlimited 2 pre-order forecourt is the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Supersport, available at Game, Caterham's Superlight R500 from Amazon.co.uk, the Audi RS 5 Coupe exclusively from ASDA and the Ferrari 612 Sessanta from HMV.
