Nintendo has today announced via a press release that they've entered into a partnership with LINE Corporation that's all about mobile games, as the pair will co-develop and manage a new game for smart devices.
What could this be though? Well later on in the press release we hear that this is a new "action puzzle game" called Dr. Mario World, seeing the return of Mario to the medical profession. This will release globally in early summer, including Japan and the US, with NHN Entertainment also assisting in developing the game.
Nintendo has already entered into the mobile market using titles like Super Mario Run, with more planned like Mario Kart Tour, although this has just been delayed until summer. As for LINE, they offer services in various fields to 165 million monthly active users across Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
