We're just under a month away from the release of 4A Games' Metro Exodus, and while a lot of people may be looking to play on PS4 and Xbox One, of course there are many out there looking to experience the game on PC.
If you're looking to buy it on Steam though, you might be interested to hear that the game will include Denuvo anti-tamper DRM support, which fans have responded rather negatively towards. One glance at the Discussions page will show you what we mean.
This isn't the only game to support Denuvo, as new games like the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry 5 also do the same, but it still hasn't stopped waves of people responding negatively to the inclusion each time.
Denuvo has a long history of controversy when it comes to the PC crowd, including alleged reductions in frame-rate and other negative impacts on technical performance. Either way, it's something we're seeing a lot of these days, so it's unsurprising to see Metro Exodus using it too.
Just last week we got a final look at the game, so if you can't wait until the full game is released on February 15 then be sure to check that out as well as the videos below.
Is Steam still going to be your platform of choice for Metro Exodus?
