Media Molecule's Dreams isn't dead, despite missing PGW

Studio head Siobhan Reddy talked about the game after the conference.

While a lot of people might have expected Media Molecule's PS4 game Dreams to feature in Sony's packed Paris Games Week show yesterday, it was alas nowhere to be seen, but as reported by DualShockers that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

A press panel after the conference saw Media Molecule studio head Siobhan Reddy talk about the game, who said: "I'm actually really excited about finishing Dreams, and what I'm really excited about is that the dream for a really long time has been to get what we've been working on out again, and out into the community, and see what people are gonna make with it."

"We're internally already making really cool stuff with it. I have made two games in the last couple of weeks, FYI... I just feel it's going to be a creative explosion."

What's more is that Reddy also talked about VR and the studio's desire to do something with it, but that the priority was Dreams for now. Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studio president Shuhei Yoshida, however, did say that he'd love to play Dreams in VR sometime.

No release window is available for Dreams just yet, but are you pleased to hear it's still a priority for the developer?
