Test Drive Unlimited 2 delayed

Racer slips to 2011
Steve Hogarty 12 August 2010

Atari have announced a delay for Test Drive Unlimited 2, meaning the game is now set for an "early 2011" release. The racer was originally set to release at end of next month. The delay also affects the launch of the game's multiplayer beta, the new release date of which will be announced by Atari shortly. Players who've already signed up for the beta will be gifted an in-game item.

"The new release date," explains the press release, "will provide the developers with additional time to fully enhance the connected console multi-player experience for consumers and deliver the ultimate blend of exhilarating open world racing and a luxurious, fast-lane lifestyle."
