Made by the director of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie.

Yesterday the PC beta for Destiny 2 ended and we are getting really close to the console release of the sci-fi shooter. Therefor Bungie has released a new live-action trailer directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, director of Kong: Skull Island and the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie.

Vogt-Roberts himself is a big video game fan with a love for Bungie's sci-fi universe: "It was a cross-section of a lot of things that I'm most interested in", he says. The live action trailer, which uses Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" and is filled with humor, shows Cayde-6, voiced by Nathan Fillion, who introduces three new Guardians recruits to their new life.

Destiny 2 releases on consoles next Wednesday, September 6, and October 24th on PC. Do like the use of live-action trailers to promote video games?
