Final Fantasy XV heading to PC early next year

Bringing with it a whole load of new features.
Sam Bishop 21 August 2017

Up until now Final Fantasy XV has only been playable on PS4 and Xbox One, but during Nvidia's Gamescom briefing Square Enix's Hajime Tabata revealed that an 'Ultimate Version' of the game is coming to PC early next year, so PC players can get in on the fun as well.

The company had produced a tech demo supporting DirectX 12 a couple of years ago, and since then Nvidia and Square Enix continued to work together on a PC release, so this will be the result of that collaboration, that should go down well with a lot of PC gamers.

What's in the Ultimate Version though? Well, there's not only all the DLCs, but also other improvements like a new first-person camera mode, 4K high-resolution textures, Dolby Atmos, realistic grass, advanced hair simulation, and more.

Is the PC version sounding like something for you?
