Bungie is recruiting soldiers for the first Destiny battle on PC, as the open beta for Destiny 2 will take place between August 29 and 31, except for players who pre-purchase the game, as these players can get cracking a day earlier.

Activision has launched a new trailer just to remind people that the PC beta will support 4K resolution and uncapped frame-rates. In regards to content, though, it offers the first story mission, Homecoming, the three-player co-operative Strike Inverted Spire, and a couple of competitive multiplayer 4x4 modes in the Crucible.
