Crucible combat in Destiny 2 will be 4v4

Squad sizes to shrink in the shooter sequel's PvP.
Mike Holmes 18 May 2017

Bungie has decided to streamline the size of teams in Destiny 2's Crucible, with the first game's 6v6 teams being reduced to 4v4 for the upcoming sequel.

During the gameplay reveal event that took place earlier this evening, a new map was shown off, and there's a gallery of images below that give you a little insight into what Midtown will look like when the game hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 8.

A new game mode - Countdown - was also detailed, and it sounds like a classic Bungie mode of old, with one team trying to plant a bomb on the other team's base.

Finally, there's also the news that there will be a new sub-class for each of the three main classes. There are pictures showing them in action on Midtown below.
