A new world record on Super Smash Bros. Melee has been set

And it involves the home run contest.
Sam Bishop 13 November 2016

Everyone knows the home run contest from Super Smash Bros., right? You get a baseball bat, you hit a sack as far as you can and you try to beat the scores of your friends. Basically, it's like actual baseball, but only loosely. Well, it seems like there is more than one way to get the sack down the field and a new world record has been set for distance achieved using Captain Falcon's nair.

It doesn't get nearly as far as the thumping power of the baseball bat, but Jefferey "Axe" Williamson can be seen here using all his concentrating powers as he juggles the sack down the field, even getting a cheeky last hit in just before the timer stops.

The record is now 358.6 ft and, understandably, Axe was pretty pleased with achieving the record. Can you beat it and solidify your place in Smash Bros. history?
