Legio given release date

Not missing in action any longer...
Bengt Lemne 5 May 2010

"After a successful beta, Legio, a true labor of love for us a Game Studios', is finally being released" said CEO Fredrik Sällström.

Legio was first announced to be published by Paradox Interactive's ill-fated Mezmer label last summer, but nothing happened, Mezmer disappeared, and Legio was "missing in action". Today it was announced that Paradox Interactive will publish the game on various digital download sites on May 21 for a tenner (dollar or euro, depending on your locale). The game has been described as a mix between chess and warhammer and is playable for up to two players.

Have a look at the images from the game and check out our interview with the developer from last year's Nordic Game.
