InXile Entertainment have had a number of successful Kickstarter campaigns, three in fact. The first one was Wasteland 2 and that game has already launched to critical acclaim. The second one is Torment: Tides of Numenera, a spiritual successor to the classic Planescape Torment and a game set in Monte Cook's Numenera world (The Bard's Tale IV is the third game). The game is now live on Steam Early Access giving players a feature complete version of the first location in the game. Over time InXile will iterate on the features and look at feedback, but later chapters and locations will have to wait until the full release of the game (planned for sometime later this year).
