Homefront is getting "at least" one year of free co-op DLC

The Revolution to be supported with a variety of content and community events.
Mike Holmes 26 January 2016

Narrative designer Stephen Rhodes talked to us about Homefront: The Revolution, specifically the co-op mode that players will be enjoying once the game has launched on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 20.

Following the game's launch, the developers are promising "at least" one year of content" to flesh out the co-op mode (more on that in our recent hands-on preview), which should give the game longevity beyond the completion of the solo and co-op campaigns. Here's what Rhodes had to say about the free updates:

"We're going to do at least twelve months of content support for the Resistance mode, which will include new items, new gear, new missions. We're going to increase the level cap of the player-characters at some point, and we're going to be doing community weekends and special events all the way through that time, so players can take part, play with devs, earn special rewards. And that's all going to be completely free, we're not going to charge for any of the Resistance mode content... it's all going to come totally free so the players can just get it and enjoy it."
