Frogwares wants you to believe that you're Sherlock Holmes

"We'd like players to believe that they're really playing Sherlock Holmes."

Gillen McAllister caught up with Frogwares Games' marketing manager, Olga Ryzhko, and found out more about the next chapter coming in the studio's long-running Sherlock Holmes series.

"With every game that we are making our Sherlock Holmes changes," Ryzhko told us. "So the previous it was The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and we tried to show the dark side of the detective... With Crimes and Punishments we'd like players to believe that they're really playing Sherlock Holmes. We would like them to feel how it feels being Sherlock Holmes. That's why we're going to have different cases, that's why we're going to have different Sherlock Holmes abilities, skills, talents."

Ryzkho confirmed that Crimes & Punishments was set to release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in Q2, 2014. It'll also be appearing on PlayStation 4 at the same time, but not Xbox One.
