The higjly anticipated downloadable Battlefield 1943 will launch on Xbox Live Arcade on July 8 and Playstation Network on July 9 (a PC version is due later on). The game will be available for 1200 points over Xbox Live and $15 (or equivalent) on Playstation Network. The game includes four maps, but the fourth one Coral Sea will be unlocked when players across both PS3 and Xbox 360 formats combine for 43 million kills. A new trailer featuring the Guadalcanal map was also released today (check it out below).
