CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings - Enhanced Edition managed to lay claim to the number one spot in the British charts as it released last week. The original release of the game on PC managed a fifth place in May last year, so getting a console release is a definite improvement for the fortunes of the witcher. Incidentally the game is the only new release to break the top 40 this week. EA dominates much of the top of the chart as has been the rule in the early part of 2012.
