Last year's edition of Pro Evolution Soccer was a major disappointment for eagle-eyed Xbox One gamers, with only 720p resolution compared to the crisper 1080p on offer on PlayStation 4. Konami has listened to fan feedback and this year it will be a different story.
European PES Product Manager, Adam Bhatti, has confirmed on Twitter: "Xbox One #PES2016 will be 1080p."
In other PES-related news, Bhatti took to Twitter once again, this time to reassure fans worried that Real Madrid wouldn't make it into the game following the announced exclusivity deal between EA Sports and the Bernabéu-based team.
"Lots of questions about Real Madrid partnership deal. Don't worry, has no impact on #PES2016, all teams in La Liga still fully licensed," he told fans.
So there you have it, Real Madrid are in the game and they'll look better than ever before, even for those on Xbox One. Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will be released on September 17 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
