God of War has received phenomenal review scores, including a well-earned 10/10 from us, and this has resulted in praise from Sony's competitors. Specifically from Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, who called the action game a "special launch for the franchise".
"Congrats @SonySantaMonica @yosp on the review scores and the upcoming launch of God of War", Spencer wrote in a recent tweet (something he's been more than happy to do in recent years whenever Sony or Nintendo has hit a home run).
God of War releases this Friday, April 20, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
