There is no stopping World of Warcraft as the second expansion sells even more than the first in its initial 24 hours. A whopping 2.8 million copies were shifted in the first 24 hours as compared to 2.8 million for The Burning Crusade back in January 2007. Currently the World of Warcraft player count is at 11 million players worldwide, far more than any of its competitors.
