Total War: Warhammer smashes franchise records for CA

It's the fastest selling Total War game on Steam, only three days after launch.

Total War: Warhammer came out on the 24th of May, and has already proven to be a huge hit. The game has broken franchise records during the first week of its release, and the game has reached over half a million sales in less than four days.

Creative Assembly's Tim Heaton confirmed that game has "been regularly topping 100k concurrent players."

"The team paid particular attention to stability and performance throughout the game's development," Heaton continued.

Those who buy the game before the May 31 will get the Chaos Warriors race pack at no extra cost. We played a short section of the Chaos Warriors campaign, and you can see that gameplay below.

The game is available on Steam, and it's well worth picking up; we've given it a glowing review ourselves.
