Creative Assembly today announced Total War: Warhammer II, the sequel to the fantasy strategy title based on Games Workshop's tabletop game.
The second game in the trilogy is set to launch later this year, and it will do so with two new campaigns (well, one is landing at launch, with a second dropping shortly after the game is released, but only for those who have both games).
There's going to be four new races included (high elves, dark elves, lizardmen, and one that's still unconfirmed), and they'll wage war over a brand new campaign map with a new end-game scenario to tie everything together.
You can see keyart, new screens, and the announcement trailer below, and you can head this way to find out more via our interview with game director Ian Roxburgh and CA communications manager Al Bickham.
