Ubisoft is officially celebrating 25 years of working on the Tom Clancy franchise, and to this end, the French publisher is making one of the series hits available to snag entirely for free for a limited period of time.

Specifically, we're talking about Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which is available to add to your collection permanently via the Ubisoft Store up until August 13 at 9:00 BST/10:00 CEST.

For those who never played the shooter from 2012, the plot synopsis for the game explains: "Join an elite team of highly trained, cut-throat special-ops soldiers. Armed to the teeth with unrivalled combat technology and cutting-edge military hardware, Ghost Recon takes you to the globe's most deadly warzones to hunt down the highest value targets."

To claim the game, you will need a Ubisoft account and Ubisoft Connect, but should you have or create either of those things, you can snag a copy of the game and keep it in your collection for good.
