After posting a bright red quarter recently (loss of $115 million) the bad news keeps piling for THQ. The company has announced that both Red Faction: Guerrilla and Darksiders: Wrath of War have pushed into the next fiscal year (starting april 2009). Both titles were expected to be released in early 2009.
Despite Saints Row 2 being a run away success with more than 2 million shipped copies, THQ are bleeding heavily and their recent closure of five studios is described as a means to turn things around. Apart from continued sales of Saints Row 2, THQ are banking on UFC and WWE licenses and their recent acquisition 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, to help them through these rough times.
