Looking to continue the current trend of first-person horror games, Camel 101 has just announced Those Who Remain, their new multi-platform title set to arrive in Q4 2018.

Silent Hill, Dementium, Outlast and the like come to your mind as you watch the debut trailer below, which presents the twisted, cursed town of Dormont. Other than the dark setting, there's both survival and puzzle-solving mechanics. Protagonist Edward Turner will have to stay in the light to survive from monsters in the darkness, which by the looks of it will be pretty demanding. And if Turner finds himself in the shadows, it's time to run in search for the next light source.

The official description also mentions a "mirror worlds" mechanic, by which players may explore the same surroundings in different eras, with actions having an impact in both worlds.

Those Who Remain will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this fall. Here's the trailer and several screens:

REVIEW. Written by Roy Woodhouse

"We liked the atmosphere that the game was able to build - the graphics, premise and sound design all build a freaky and intense experience."
