The Eternal Life of Goldman shines in latest trailer, but the release date remains unannounced

We still don't know when we'll be playing Weappy's anticipated platformer.

If you had to put together a wishlist of things you would have wanted to see and hear about as part of the THQ Nordic Showcase ahead of the weekend, the list would perhaps be topped by a firm release date for developer Weappy's The Eternal Life of Goldman, a stunning action platformer that has been holding our attention for years at this point.

Each time a new trailer for the game is shared, we find ourselves dazzled by the project and then left a tad dejected when a release window, never mind an exact date, is missing, and this is once again the situation following the THQ Nordic Showcase.

Yep, a new trailer has landed for the game, which you can see for yourself below, but it once more doesn't answer the question we've all been asking. There is no release date or window, only a confirmation of plans to launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 (with a day one Game Pass launch as well).

The good news is the game continues to look wonderful, and if you do want a taste of what it offers, a demo is available to play via Steam. But as for whether you'll be able to experience the full game before the end of 2026, this is beginning to look less and less likely. Then again, Gamescom Opening Night Live! is coming up, so there's always hope...
