There were many, many titles that pleasantly surprised us at Gamescom 2025, but one of the standout titles was undoubtedly The Blood of Dawnwalker, from Polish studio Rebel Wolves, whom we had the pleasure of interviewing at the time.
The development team, whose core comprises veterans from CDPR, including its director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, is working on an ARPG with a unique style that promises action, tension, and spectacular combat, judging by the videos they have shared so far. And next week we could find out much more.
Konrad Tomaszkiewicz himself announced via LinkedIn that next week they will be hosting a major live event called Road to Launch for The Blood of Dawnwalker, which will be streamed via the studio's official channels on Twitch and YouTube on 28 April at 17:00 BST/18:00 CEST. We still don't know for sure what we'll see there, but it looks like it will include comments from various members of the development team, as well as a glimpse at new mechanics, and possibly a firm release date for 2026.
